Hello,
I am Bruce Maneke, licensed home inspector and owner of Mountainside Home Inspections, LLC. After quickly falling in love with the beauty of the valley and the history surrounding the area, my wife and I decided to relocate to Augusta County after separating from the United States Air Force. We are proud to call ourselves residents of Augusta County and are excited to establish roots for our children to grow. Our family has always been dedicated to serving others and is looking forward to serving you as your next home inspector!

We strive to be the best in the industry by delivering every client an informative and detailed inspection report as well as additional resources to ensure your home lasts the test of time. Every home inspection we do comes with a folder that includes a book, agreements, invoice, and our buy-back certificate. The book is about 95 pages and contains home maintenance tips and information about the different systems and components of your home. Our goal is to provide you with all of the information you need to protect your investment!
Many inspectors and companies do the bare minimum standards and only check a representative number of items. Some companies even charge extra in “bundles” to include maintenance items and tips in your report. We believe that a home inspector should always go above and beyond for you, which is what Mountainside Home Inspections does for EVERY customer. A Home Inspection is the most important and crucial step during a Real Estate transaction, as the Home Inspection Report will give you the tools to understand the condition of the home and its items and components. This information will allow you to make an educated decision, and give you the ability to renegotiate for repairs of items, or on price.
I’m a Virginia State Licensed Home Inspector with the New Residential Structure designation and have earned the Certified Professional Inspector designation from InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors). I have the knowledge to provide you with a wealth of information relating to the home you are purchasing. It is my absolute goal to serve you with your best interest at heart. Being a Home Inspector isn’t just a job to me, it’s who I am.
I perform Home Inspections as if I’m going to move my daughter and wife into that home the next day. I report on ANY visible safety issues, installation deficiencies, areas of moisture intrusion, and/or any other piece of information that may assist you in making an educated decision. MY REPORTS ARE COMPLETELY UNBIASED, I have no affiliation with any other parties in your transaction. MY ONLY OBLIGATION IS TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THE CONDITION OF THE HOME.
