How Much Does it Cost?
We believe in transparency, which is why we don’t hide our prices! We aren’t the cheapest inspection company in the area, but the level of quality and pride that we put into providing extremely comprehensive reports for you show we have your best interests at heart. Our reports are designed to be an educational resource for you, we don’t only point out the issues found but provide you with maintenance tips and general information about different systems and components of your home. Ancillary Services:
- Homes over 50 years in age will have an additional $75 fee
- Radon Testing with Home Inspection is an additional $125
- Sewer Pipe Camera with home inspection is an additional $200
- FHA / VA Water Testing with home inspection is an additional $300
- Mold analysis and Air Quality Testing with home inspection is $300 for 4 samples, $50 for each additional sample
- Detached structures can be added to the inspection at an added cost.
Mold and Water Intrusion Evaluations start at $450 and may increase if more mold samples are collected for lab analysis. These inspections include two air samples (one indoors, one outdoors) and two additional samples (air or surface samples). Additional samples will cost $50/sample
After every inspection, we will provide you with a detailed report of our findings. We also take the time to discuss our findings with you to make sure you understand how to protect your home.

Every home inspection we do comes with a folder that includes a book, agreements, invoice, and our buy-back certificate. The book is about 95 pages and contains home maintenance tips and information about the different systems and components of your home. Our goal is to provide you with all of the information you need to protect your investment!
Many inspectors and companies do the bare minimum standards and only check a representative number of items. Some companies even charge extra in “bundles” to include maintenance items and tips in your report. We believe that a home inspector should always go above and beyond for you, which is what Mountainside Home Inspections does for EVERY customer.
